interesting
I always like to see the two sides of a story and this article is a very good addition to why people oppose gay marriage.
Although I'm gay, I'm not a big marriage activist, mostly because I don't believe marriage is the institution most people make it to be, to reflect love it's just a symbol, but on the other side it's devastating to read about all those people who lose their partners and are left with nothing, marriage does provide stability in the legal sense, too bad our society is still ruled by mere paperwork.

Yeah sure, so the war in the Middle East is over what? RELIGION!
The IRA fights for what? RELIGION!
September/11/2001? RELIGION!
When has a gay man or woman caused ANY war?
Besides, you say religions are for living properly, when we all know how subjective "living properly" actually is. I believe that if you do not harm others, and I'm sorry but homosexual relations don't harm anyone, you are living properly and being G-d worthy.

I'm sorry, but I think you are really biased.
When Clinton was in power he wasn't in Iaq becaue Sarajevo and Afghanistan had his hands too busy...
Homosexuality is not a medical or physical threat, did you know in fact that in most countries with high levels of HIV infection homosexuals aren' the most affected group? It's heterosexuals!
Homosexuality is jut being given constant bad name by the media and ignorant religions.
The one thing I do agree with you is that religions aren't flawed, it's the men and women who follow them who are flawed.
And those falwed include those who run them, who have turned them into a seek for power more than a path for hope.
